For Dry Climates
Typically from November to April or during dry weather -- when relative humidity is less than 50% -- some feather can become little brittle and affect the durability of the shuttle.
Humidifying or steaming the shuttles properly will solve this problem.
Twenty four hours before playing, do the following:
Boil water in tea kettle or cooking pan.
Open both lids and point the steam into the tube until the steam goes through it.
Wait few seconds.
Turn the tube upside down, repeat step 2 & 3.
Close the lids.
